Privacy notice & your choices.
This notice describes information handled through the Quick Response Towing Services LLC website, request flow, tracking tools, and staff portal. Contact us at 8701 Central Ave, Capitol Heights, MD 20743, info@quickresponsetowing.com, or (202) 834-2546.
1. Information and purposes
When you request service, we receive the name, phone number, optional email, pickup and destination, vehicle details, plate if supplied, access information, and notes you provide. We use these details to review availability, communicate, coordinate and document service, address complaints, and protect customers, staff, and property. Staff accounts and sessions support authenticated access. Hosting providers also process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, and security logs to deliver and protect the site.
2. Location and private tracking
Precise customer location is requested only when you choose a location-sharing control and grant browser permission; typing an address is an alternative. Drivers can choose to share GPS through their assigned private trip link. The tracking system stores the latest submitted location and shows available trip information to holders of the private customer link. Do not share customer or driver links publicly. Drivers can stop sharing; revoke device permissions when appropriate. Turning off permission stops new location access but does not erase information already submitted.
3. Optional analytics and essential storage
Optional analytics are off until you select Accept. Reject keeps them off without limiting calls, requests, or tracking. Our own analytics count public page views and clicks on call, text, request, and M&A partner links. The analytics table stores only the date, public page path, event category, and combined count; it does not store names, contact details, precise location, query strings, tracking tokens, or a visitor identifier. Technical hosting logs are separate.
Staff, request, driver, and customer tracking pages are excluded from optional analytics. No advertising pixels or cross-site advertising identifiers are installed by this site. Global Privacy Control keeps optional analytics off. Consent choices are remembered for 180 days; changing your choice stops future optional collection. Combined counts are removed after 180 days when the analytics service next records an event.
Essential staff session cookies and local preferences, including appearance, beacon language, and privacy choices, remain available. You can clear browser storage, but that may reset preferences or sign you out. Our Quick Assist conversation stays in the current page session; it is not sent to an AI model by this implementation.
4. Who receives information
Authorized dispatch staff and assigned service providers receive information needed for the requested work. Hosting, database, and configured email-delivery providers process information to operate the system. Submitted request details may be included in staff notifications. Sharing relevant delivery details with your chosen repair facility may be necessary to complete the tow. Merely opening the M&A partner link does not send your request record to M&A. External maps, email, telephone, messaging, and partner sites have their own privacy practices.
The website does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising or eligibility profiling. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to respond to a valid legal request or protect legal rights.
5. Retention and security
Service records are retained as needed for the requested work, accounting, safety, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of record and any legal hold. Access restrictions and authenticated staff sessions help protect records, but no system guarantees absolute security. Please do not put card numbers, Social Security numbers, medical details, or unnecessary sensitive information into request notes or Quick Assist.
6. Access, correction, deletion, and appeals
Email or call us to ask what information we hold, request a copy, correct it, request deletion, or raise a privacy concern. Use “Privacy request” in the subject and identify the request record without sending unnecessary sensitive data. We may verify your identity using information reasonably related to the request. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, or service-related reasons.
Where the Maryland Online Data Privacy Act or Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act applies, eligible consumers have rights to confirm and access data, correct inaccuracies, delete data, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of covered sales, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. Applicable statutory deadlines, exceptions, appeal rights, and protections against discrimination remain in effect. To appeal a denial, contact the same address with “Privacy appeal” and the prior decision. You may also contact your state attorney general. Rights under applicable District of Columbia and federal law remain unaffected.
7. Children, updates, and contact
The service is intended for people authorized to arrange vehicle assistance, not as a service directed to children under 13. Contact us if a child has submitted personal information. Updates to this notice will carry a revised date. Privacy questions and service complaints may be sent to the contacts above.
